PLAY UP, BOYS
JT is now just four years, since I became connected with H. F. C. and I may say, I
have never regretted putting in my lot with this fine Old Club. Rather, I better
say, that I have felt it an honour to be in the service of such a union.
During this period they have not treated me as „The Trainer", but as one of
themselves.

I have had many players through my hands during these years and it has been a
pity, that we have had to keep loosing them to foreign countries. If we could have
held them, I am sure, we should have had more success than we have had, as the
secret of success is to keep the same players together. As everybody knows, September
brings the Jubilee Year for H. F. C., let us hope that it is the beginning of one of
H. F. C.'s best seasons.
