2012-A-ONCE-A-LIFE-TIME OPPORTUNITY
In less then two years the Museum- and millions of readers and Dickens
enthousiasts around the world- will commemorate the 200th anniversary of
the author's birth on 7 February 1812. The Museum has taken the lead on
staging a world wide programme of activities including exhibitions, film
festivals, literary and art commissions, live performances and educational
campaigns. Redeveloping the Museum will enable us to meet the demands
of our present and future visitors, many of whom will be coming to London
during the 2012 Olympic Games.
